The Fabspeed Valvetronic Nordschleife cat-back exhaust system gives the 992 GT3/ GT3RS a truly exotic sports car sound while retaining the functionality of PSE.
The design process started with 3D laser scanning the entire OEM exhaust system and underside of the GT3 engine using a CREAFORM 700 Handscan so that they could make a complete Solidworks 3D model of the exhaust.
Fabspeed then CAD designed the exhaust and fixtures using that model so the exhaust fit perfectly to OEM Porsche Motorsport standards.
After multiple revisions for sound quality and incremental dyno testing they decided to use their signature cast 70mm (2.75") X-pipe to tie the two flat-six cylinder banks together for exhaust scavenging and to defeat resonance.
The exhaust valves are made by Helical Limited in the United Kingdom. These are the world's finest aerospace quality exhaust valves.
Helical ISO 9001 certified valves are the same ones Ferrari, McLaren, Pagani, Aston Martin, Koeniggseeg, and Porsche use on their GT cars. Fabspeed's exhaust systems are mandrel bent in-house from T304 stainless steel.

This 992 GT3 system is guaranteed to make the best sports car sound and more power than any other system in the world.
Bullet-proof exhaust valves and an X-pipe linking both exhaust banks required true engineering versus simply slapping together two 90 degree straight pipes like many other companies. Utilizing 3" tubing is guaranteed to make less horsepower and torque versus Fabspeed.
SOUND:
With PSE off this Valvetronic exhaust gives a subtle increase in volume. With PSE on, it turns the 4.0 exhaust note into an exotic sound with a significant increase in volume.
The exhaust note changes from the smooth purr of the OEM exhaust to the aggressive race-bred snarl of a SUPERCUP car. The investment cast X-pipe is proprietary and is crucial for delivering an aggressive, high pitched GT3 sound.

POWER:
This Maxflo valvetronic Nordschlefe system improves on Porsche’s design by increasing pipe diameter from 2.5 in to 2.75in, and by using a signature investment cast X-pipe instead of the factory H-Pipe.
On their DynoJet Fabspeed saw +17.5 crank horsepower (or 14 wheel horsepower) at 4200 RPM and a healthy dose of torque down low at 4200 RPM gaining 17 lb/ft of torque.
Significant power gains that you can feel and major weight savings.
Note: A 3" X-pipe actually lost 15 lb/ft of torque and -10 horsepower versus 70mm. Larger is the wrong way to go for this application.
